It’s an exciting time at Hunt Yachts’ World Headquarters in Portsmouth, RI. Two christenings were held Thursday: Mike and Celia Withers christened their Surfhunter 25 Center Console Whim (above, with sales director John Jay Mouligne) and Paul Downey christened his Surfhunter 29 The Bottom Line (below, with son Connor and sales director John Hendricks). Both boats received a champagne splash and a cannon salute on the docks outside our facility.

The Downeys will be on the water this weekend in New Bedford, MA, participating in Fishing for a Cause, a fundraiser for The Schwartz Center. Hunt Yachts is also a sponsor of the event. The Bottom Line will be at the dock at Pope’s Island Marina on Saturday – stop by and see us!

The Withers hail from the eastern end of Long Island, and plan to spend the summer enjoying Whim.

The Bottom Line is hull no. 99 of the iconic Surfhunter 29. We’re looking forward to the launch of hull no. 100 next month.
